Matson’s Brewery has modern brewing equipment and with its production capacity takes it out of the strictly boutique brewery category to put it as one of the larger scale independent brewery’s.
Of most interest is our ‘flash pasteurisation’ machinery that is used in conjunction with micro-filtration to achieve pure chemical and preservative-free bottling of all our beer products. Although a common system internationally, flash pasteurisation is not as common in New Zealand, making Matson’s Brewery an innovative, private brewery.
At Matson’s, tradition and progress go hand in hand. Beer is brewed using traditional recipes with state of the art production processes. As technology has progressed, brewing techniques have been developed and refined. As a result we are now consuming the finest beers ever produced and heading that pack is Matson’s Brewery.
